Ky-Mani Marley one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a part of Shottas the cult movie with Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a new reggae musician. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class festival of music that was held in Miami. Marley presented a show on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcast to other 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record in 1997, where he recorded a collaboration with label mate P.M. Dawn sang the song Gotta Movin' on Up in the hit song. Bob Marley is the father of his wife Anita Belnavis and he's their sole child. Ky-Mani is a native of Jamaica and is among the most well-known Reggae singers.
